Transcorp Hotels Plc has posted impressive financial results for the first half of 2025, reporting a revenue of N47.57 billion, a remarkable 60% increase compared to the N29.72 billion recorded in the same period of 2024.
The hospitality giant also reported a 71% surge in gross profit, which rose from N21.19 billion in H1 2024 to N36.21 billion in 2025, despite rising inflation and increased operating costs. This performance pushed the company’s gross profit margin up to 76%, underscoring its operational efficiency and resilience in a challenging economic environment.
A subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, Transcorp Hotels Plc is known for its flagship property, Transcorp Hilton Abuja, and its growing digital hospitality platform, Aura by Transcorp Hotels.
In a financial statement filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on Friday, the company attributed its strong performance to consistent innovation, efficient operations, and the recent launch of the new 5,000-capacity Transcorp Centre in Abuja.
To reward shareholders, the Board of Directors declared an interim dividend of N1.024 billion, translating to 10 kobo per share on every 50 kobo ordinary share, subject to applicable withholding tax.
