Highlighting the constitutional mandate of the military to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Nigeria, General Musa reiterated the commitment of the armed forces to uphold the rule of law, even in the face of provocation.
Addressing concerns of reprisal attacks, the military clarified that it did not engage in such actions and called for cooperation from community leaders and residents in identifying and holding the perpetrators accountable.
