The South West Caucus of the House of Representatives has come out to condemn the recent activities of the acclaimed Yoruba Nation Agitators. The group states that these activities have caused unrest in the region and pose a threat to the peace and stability of the country.
Representing the people of the South West region, the caucus has taken a strong position against any form of unlawful behavior and violence which may undermine the rule of law and the unity of Nigeria. It’s necessary that all grievances and demands be dealt with peacefully and lawful means, maintained the group.
“Violence and lawlessness have no place in our society, and we call on all parties involved to engage in constructive dialogue, prioritize the welfare of our people, and work towards finding peaceful and lasting solutions to any grievances,” said the Chairman of the South West Caucus, Rt. Hon.Dr Abiodun James Faleke.
The group also assured that they remain committed to upholding the values of democracy, justice, and unity in the region and the country at large. They believe that by working together, they will overcome challenges and build a better future for all.
