PSC Chairman Felicitates Muslims, Nigerians on Eid-ul-Mawlid

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd.), has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful, staff of the Commission, officers of the Nigeria Police Force, and Nigerians at large on the occasion of Eid-ul-Mawlid, the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

In his goodwill message, the PSC Chairman described the celebration as a reminder of the Prophet’s exemplary life of humility, compassion, justice, and devotion to humanity, noting that his teachings continue to inspire peace, tolerance, and mutual respect—values he said were urgently needed in the country.

He urged Nigerians to use the occasion to reflect on these timeless lessons and imbibe them in their daily lives.

“For the staff of the Commission and officers of the Nigeria Police Force, may this occasion further strengthen our commitment to selfless service, integrity, and dedication to the protection of lives and property,” Argungu said.

He further called on citizens to use the celebration to foster unity, promote peaceful coexistence, and renew their faith in building a safer and stronger Nigeria.

The PSC Chairman wished all Nigerians a blessed and peaceful Eid-ul-Mawlid.
