The Police Service Commission (PSC) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the successful completion and commissioning of critical road infrastructure in Dakibiyu District, Jabi, within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The newly constructed Collector Road CN8 (Asuquo Okon Street), which links Arterial Road N5 (Obafemi Awolowo Way) to Arterial Road N1, along with several adjoining roads in the Dakibiyu District, was officially commissioned today by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON.
The commissioning ceremony, held along Asuquo Okon Street near the Corporate Headquarters of the Police Service Commission, was attended by dignitaries and notable Nigerians.
Representing the PSC at the event, the Secretary to the Commission, Chief Onyemuche Nnamani, praised President Tinubu’s commitment to infrastructural development, describing it as a bold move to reverse years of neglect.
Chief Nnamani acknowledged that the PSC is among the direct beneficiaries of the road project and expressed deep appreciation to the FCT Minister, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for prioritizing road rehabilitation in the area. He noted that the new road network would enhance access to the Commission and stimulate business growth and development across Dakibiyu.
He also called on Nigerians to support the Tinubu administration as it works to deliver the dividends of democracy across the country. Chief Nnamani reiterated the Commission’s dedication to promoting professionalism and accountability within the Nigeria Police Force, urging officers to continue serving the nation with integrity and diligence.
