NNPC Exploration and Production Limited (NNPC E&P Ltd), the flagship upstream subsidiary of NNPC Ltd, in collaboration with Natural Oilfield Services Ltd (NOSL), a subsidiary of Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Company Ltd (SEEPCO), proudly announces the successful commencement of oil production at Oil Mining Lease (OML) 13 in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
In a statement signed by Olufemi O. Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer NNPC Ltd, On May 6th, 2024, the inaugural production of 6,000 barrels of oil marked the beginning of a new chapter, with plans to ramp up production to 40,000 barrels per day by May 27th, 2024.
