He underscored President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR’s acknowledgment of the troops’ commitment and combat readiness in tackling security challenges that jeopardize Nigeria’s peace and progress.
Addressing a recent tragic incident in Okuoma community, Delta State, where soldiers from the 181 Amphibious Battalion lost their lives during a peacekeeping mission, the Minister condemned the act and extended condolences to the families of the fallen heroes.
Additionally, he assured that efforts were underway to address security concerns, such as the kidnapping of school children in Kuriga, Kaduna State, with close coordination between the military and other security agencies to ensure their safe rescue.
Minister Badaru reiterated the commitment of the current administration under President Tinubu to enhancing national security, emphasizing ongoing efforts to achieve tangible results in securing the nation.
