The report highlights significant achievements made by the military during the past week. Notably, troops neutralized 216 terrorists and apprehended 332 individuals involved in terrorist activities.
Additionally, 24 perpetrators of oil theft were arrested, and 161 kidnapped hostages were rescued, contributing to the ongoing efforts to restore peace and security.
Furthermore, the military recovered a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition, including AK47 rifles, PKT guns, locally fabricated firearms, explosives, and various ammunition types.
The successful operations also led to the confiscation of vehicles, motorcycles, mobile phones, and a significant amount of currency, among other items.
In the Niger Delta region, troops discovered and destroyed several illegal refining sites, dugout pits, boats, storage tanks, and other equipment used for criminal activities.
