NAF Airstrike Devastates Terrorists in Buratai, Destroys Gun Trucks and Neutralises Fighters

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has launched a decisive airstrike against terrorist elements in Buratai, Borno State, inflicting significant damage on the insurgents in a coordinated operation under Operation HADIN KAI.

According to a statement issued by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, the early morning strike was executed following credible intelligence on the movement of terrorists in the area.

Surveillance assets reportedly tracked a convoy of insurgents attempting to escape with four gun trucks. As the terrorists regrouped along a known operational route, NAF air platforms engaged them with precision, successfully neutralising several fighters and destroying two gun trucks laden with supplies.

“This precision engagement demonstrates the Nigerian Air Force’s continued commitment to rooting out terrorism and ensuring security in the North East,” Air Commodore Ejodame said.

He added that further details of the operation would be released as they become available.

The strike marks another milestone in the ongoing efforts of the Armed Forces to dismantle terrorist networks and restore lasting peace to the region.
