MPA HARPS ON PRINCIPLES OF SERVICE DELIVERY TO IMPLEMENT MANDATES


The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Police Affairs, Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, emphasized the importance of understanding service delivery principles and public service reforms to effectively implement the Ministry’s mandate.

Speaking at a workshop in Abuja, he highlighted the adoption of the Service Compact with All Nigerians, emphasizing the need for improved governance processes and enhanced public service efficiency.

Dr. Sani-Gwarzo urged civil servants to uphold positive values, eliminate corruption, and ensure transparency and accountability to meet citizens’ expectations.

The Management commits to utilizing the SERVICOM platform for improved stakeholder experiences, aiming to transition towards a more productive and result-driven Civil Service for national development.

Participants were encouraged to actively engage in the workshop to facilitate a cultural shift towards qualitative service delivery.

The initiative aligns with the framework set by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation and the Bureau of Public Service Reforms.

The objective of the Service Compact with All Nigerians is to institutionalize continuous performance improvement, citizen-centered focus, transparency, and accountability within government institutions.

The workshop included presentations by key officials, emphasizing the importance of embracing a new paradigm for accelerated national development.
