JAMB Issues Guidelines for Checking 2024 UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued guidance to candidates regarding the checking of their results for the recently concluded 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In a statement released by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Public Communication Advisor of the Board, candidates are advised to adhere strictly to the specified method for result verification.

To access their scores, candidates must send UTMERESULT to either 55019 or 66019 using the phone number provided during the registration process.

It is crucial to ensure that the SIM card used is not currently subscribed to any data bundle.

It is important to note that this year’s procedure differs from previous years, as results will not be available on the board’s website.

The statement emphasizes that printed result slips are not valid, cautioning against any individuals claiming otherwise.

Furthermore, candidates are advised against visiting cybercafés or engaging with third-party entities to check their results, as this is unnecessary.

Candidates are urged to adhere strictly to these instructions to access their UTME results accurately.
