JAMB and Nigeria Police Issue Warning Against Fake UTME Notification Slip Websites.

In a joint press conference held today, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have alerted the public to the proliferation of fraudulent websites offering printing services for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Notification Slip.

These fake sites, created by malicious individuals, aim to deceive candidates and extract personal information for nefarious purposes.

Both JAMB and the Nigeria Police Force strongly condemn these fraudulent activities and emphasize the importance of printing UTME Notification Slips only from the official JAMB website: www.jamb.gov.ng.

Candidates are urged to avoid visiting any other website to print their slips to safeguard their personal information and ensure the integrity of the examination process.

The deadline for printing UTME Notification Slips is set for Friday, 19th April, 2024, ahead of the commencement of the 2024 UTME on Friday, 19th April.

Candidates are reminded to be wary of sites offering purported ‘live’ questions and answers, as accessing such materials is prohibited and may lead to disqualification.

Furthermore, JAMB and the Nigeria Police Force are collaborating to address online scam-related issues through the NPF National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC).

The Inspector General of Police has issued directives to apprehend scammers and fraudsters engaging in cybercrimes, ensuring they face legal consequences.

Parents, guardians, and the general public are urged to join efforts in promoting integrity and compliance with established guidelines to foster a culture of transparency in the examination process.

Together, through vigilance and cooperation, we can combat fraudulent practices and uphold the credibility of the UTME.
