The House of Representatives has called on the Inspector General of Police to take over the investigation and prosecution of the officers involved in the shooting and killing of a 2year old boy Ivan Onose Omhonrina, and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.

This development is sequel to the adoption the resolutions of a motion sponsored by Rep Uyime Idem from Akwa Ibom State at Plenary.
