The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has charged strategic police managers across the country to remain focused, courageous, and professional in their duties to help restore public trust in the Nigeria Police Force.
Egbetokun made the call during the IGP Conference held at the Force Headquarters in Abuja. Addressing senior officers, he emphasized the critical need for professionalism in the discharge of police duties to ensure the safety of lives and property and promote the general well-being of all Nigerians. 
The IGP warned that any form of misconduct or unprofessional behavior within the force would not be tolerated, reaffirming the commitment of the police leadership to accountability and ethical standards.
He also highlighted the outcomes of police operations carried out between April and March, noting that they yielded significant results in various parts of the country. According to him, these successes underscore the resilience and operational capacity of the Nigeria Police Force. 
Egbetokun acknowledged the evolving nature of crime and the emergence of new security threats but assured Nigerians that the force would not relent in its efforts to combat criminal activities and maintain national security.
The conference brought together top police officers to review ongoing strategies and strengthen the force’s approach to law enforcement amid rising public expectations.
