The House of Representatives has called upon Hadi Sirika, the former Minister of Aviation, regarding the Nigeria Air project that was suspended.
Sirika is expected to update lawmakers on the project’s status during his tenure and shed light on various controversies and allegations surrounding it.
Additionally, the current Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, the acting Director-General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Chris Najomo, and local airline operators have also been invited to provide insights.
The resolution was passed during Thursday’s plenary session after a motion sponsored by Tarkighir Dickson, a lawmaker from Benue, was adopted.
