Hon. Minister Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim Conferred with Honorary Fellowship Doctorate by Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management, Ghana


The Honourable Minister of State for Police Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, has been awarded the Honorary Professional Fellowship Doctorate 2024 Hall of Fame by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics, Ghana.

The investiture ceremony was conducted by the Institute’s Executive Director of Corporate Affairs and Planning, Dr. Ani Freeman, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.

Dr. Freeman highlighted the Minister’s dedication to excellence, her significant contributions to public service, and her involvement in nation-building and community initiatives in Nigeria as key factors in her selection for this prestigious honor.

In her acceptance speech, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his leadership and for elevating the Ministry of Police Affairs, which has empowered her to enhance the police ecosystem for improved service delivery across Nigeria.

She emphasized the importance of ongoing support from Nigerians for the government’s reform initiatives, especially in the police sector.

The Minister also expressed her appreciation to the Chartered Institute for the recognition, urging them to continue holding leaders accountable in the pursuit of societal progress.

Reflecting on the future, Imaan stressed the need for collective efforts toward a more hospitable Nigeria and Africa, underscoring the importance of supporting the continent’s youth.

“Young people are eager for the Africa of their dreams, and we must nurture and guide them to achieve development and growth across the continent,” she said, pledging her continued commitment to mentoring and empowering young Africans.

The event was attended by dignitaries from various sectors, recognizing the Minister’s significant impact in public service and youth development.
