FCT Police Receive 20 Million Naira Bounty for Capture of Notorious Kidnappers


The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, announced today that the command has successfully received a twenty million naira bounty, courtesy of the FCT Minister, for the capture of two notorious and most wanted kidnappers.

In a statement released by the Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Josephine Adeh, in Abuja, CP Igweh expressed gratitude to the Minister, Nyesom Wike, for the generous gesture, emphasizing its significance in bolstering the safety and security of residents within the territory.

CP Igweh further assured the public that the bounty fund would be distributed equitably among the tactical teams and divisional police officers of the command, aimed at enhancing service delivery and incentivizing efforts in combating crime.

Highlighting the command’s unwavering dedication to ensuring the well-being of residents, CP Igweh urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly to security agencies.

The reception of this bounty serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies and government bodies in tackling criminal activities within the FCT region.
