The operations, conducted in strategic locations within the FCT, targeted areas notorious for harboring vandals and storing stolen items. Key locations raided include Apo-Dutse Panteka, Diplomatic Zone, Kabusa Panteka, Abuja-Kaduna Road, and others.

The coordinated effort yielded remarkable results, with the police arresting 348 suspects, 320 of whom have already been charged to court. Additionally, the raids led to the recovery of:

10 trucks loaded with vandalized metals,

26 stolen manhole covers,

20 solar and streetlight poles,

Large quantities of vandalized AEDC armored cables,

Substantial amounts of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp,

Various hard drugs, and

11 firearms.

The raids underscore the commitment of the FCT Police Command to ensuring the safety and security of residents while safeguarding critical infrastructure.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that the Command remains dedicated to maintaining peace and order in the territory. She encouraged residents to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activities.

“The support and cooperation of the public are invaluable in our mission to protect lives, property, and infrastructure,” she added.
