FCT Police Command Apprehends Three Suspects Linked to Robberies and One Chance Crimes


In a proactive move to curb criminal activities, the FCT Police Command announces the successful arrest of three individuals connected to a series of robbery cases and one chance activities in the FCT and its surrounding areas.

According to a statement by Josephine Adeh, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, the trio comprises Chukwudi Okorie (51 years old), Chibuzor Okorie (43 years old), a husband and wife, and Esther Gabriel (38 years old), all residents of Akaraka Gwagwa in the FCT.

The suspects, identified during crime prevention operations by Police Operatives from Utako Police Divisional Headquarters, confessed to engaging in various one chance-related activities in the FCT prior to their apprehension.

The statement reveals that a blue Mazda car with Registration Number FCT 590 EV, utilized as the syndicate’s operational vehicle for their criminal acts, was recovered from one of the suspects.

As investigations continue to identify and apprehend other accomplices, Commissioner of Police FCT Command Haruna Garba emphasizes his unwavering commitment to ensuring the FCT remains a secure and peaceful place for residents.
