In a bid to ensure a safe and secure festive season, the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Olatunji Disu, psc, conducted an operational tour of key recreational centers across the Federal Capital Territory.
The areas visited include Millennium Park, Jabi Park, Lugbe ShopRite, and Magic Land.
The visit, carried out on December 26, 2024, was aimed at assessing the security measures deployed at these popular spots to guarantee the safety of residents and visitors during the holiday celebrations.
CP Disu emphasized the importance of police visibility and proactive measures in fostering public confidence and deterring criminal activities.
Speaking on the initiative, the Commissioner highlighted the FCT Police Command’s commitment to creating a peaceful environment for residents to enjoy the festivities.
He urged citizens to cooperate with security personnel and report any suspicious activities promptly.
The Command also extended warm festive greetings to all residents, reaffirming its dedication to their safety and well-being.
SP Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer for the FCT Command, assured the public that security operations will remain robust throughout the holiday period.
