The Abuja Chapter of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN) will today install Mrs. Chinwe Ofili, ACA, as its 9th Chairperson in a ceremony set to celebrate female leadership and excellence in the accounting profession.
The investiture and swearing-in event will commence at 3:00 PM at the B.M.O Events Arena, located inside Riverplate Park, 174 Ahmadu Bello Way, near Abia House, Wuse 2, Abuja.
Mrs. Ofili, an accomplished accountant and tax expert, will be inaugurated alongside other newly elected executives of the Abuja Chapter to serve a two-year term from 2025 to 2027.
A host of distinguished personalities from the finance, oil and gas, and public sectors are expected to grace the occasion. Chief Mrs. Hilda Ofure Ozoh, the National Chairperson of SWAN, will serve as the Chief Host of the event.
Also scheduled to attend are Chief Tunde J. Afolabi, MFR, Chairman/CEO of Amni International Petroleum Development Company Ltd., as Father of the Day; and Hajia Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim, APC Deputy National Woman Leader (North), as Mother of the Day.
The Special Guest of Honour will be Rt. Hon. Ngozi Lawrence Okolie, Member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, while the keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Kabir Abba, PhD, FCTI.
Mrs. Ofili is widely recognized for her professionalism, leadership, and contributions to the accounting sector. Her investiture marks a new chapter for SWAN Abuja, as the organization continues to empower and spotlight women in finance and accounting across Nigeria.
