Newly appointed Director-General of the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC), Yusuf Buba Yakub, has emphasized DTAC’s immediate action in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s mandate.
The Former Chairman House of Representatives committee on Foreign Affairs stated this during the deployment of 16 TAC volunteers to Liberia in Abuja..
The Director General of DTAC, while announcing Nigeria’s plans to send volunteers to Liberia to enhance bilateral ties between both countries stated that the deployment reflects the administration’s commitment to collaborate with stakeholders for mutual benefit and effective national development.
He urged the volunteers to be good ambassadors, in line with the tripartite agreement between Nigeria and the United States, and mentioned the Directorate’s efforts to enhance its performance.
Honourable Buba- Yakub also reiterated his commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and the President’s 3Point Agenda to reposition, re-energize, and re-engineer DTAC for greater relevance in national affairs.
