The Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to combating insurgency and banditry in Katsina State.
During his courtesy visit to the state, Minister Badaru emphasized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s dedication to securing Nigeria from all forms of security threats.
He assured the people of Katsina that the Ministry of Defence will collaborate with other security agencies to restore peace and ensure a safe farming season.
The primary objective of Minister Badaru’s visit to the military formations in Katsina is to boost troop morale, evaluate operational strategies, and identify additional support needed to enhance the fight against insurgency.
Governor Dikko Umar, represented by Deputy Governor Alh. Faruk Lawan, praised the Minister’s efforts and dedication to securing Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole.
He expressed gratitude for the Minister’s relentless support in addressing the state’s security challenges.
