CP Igwe Orders Investigations Into Kugbo Killing.


The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police have arrested a suspect and commenced an investigation into the murder of Chukwu Chukwudi, a mechanic at Kugbo Mechanic Village, Abuja. The incident occurred on Thursday at approximately 4:00 PM.

According to preliminary investigations, an argument broke out between Chukwudi and four others, including Tijani Uzairu, who had brought a vehicle in for repairs.

During the altercation, one of the suspects stabbed Chukwudi in the neck with a dagger.

Police operatives from the Karu Division responded to the scene promptly, arresting Tijani Uzairu, who was with the group, and rushing Chukwudi to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the attending doctor.

The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth C. Igweh, has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident.

He assured the public that normalcy has been restored in the area and urged citizens to refrain from violent acts, emphasizing the severe and regrettable consequences of such actions.
