COAS Issues Stern Warning to Criminals at First Quarter Conference Closing


At the closing ceremony of the Chief of Army Staff’s First Quarter Conference 2024, Lieutenant General Taoreed  Lagbaja issued a stern warning to criminal elements across Nigeria.

Amidst discussions on national security strategies and welfare initiatives, Lieutenant General Lagbaja emphasized the Nigerian Army’s unwavering commitment to neutralizing criminal activities and safeguarding citizens’ lives and properties.

Addressing attendees, Lieutenant General Lagbaja reiterated the Army’s resolve to work collaboratively with sister services and security agencies to ensure the security of all Nigerians.

He acknowledged the invaluable support of law-abiding citizens and urged them to continue aiding the Army in its efforts to create a safe environment conducive to good governance and economic prosperity.

However, Lieutenant General Lagbaja tone turned resolute as he directed a clear message to criminals: the Nigerian Army would stop at nothing to neutralize their activities.
