Chief of Defence Staff Extends Eid-el-Fitr Greetings to Armed Forces.


In a heartfelt message resonating with gratitude and unity, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff of the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN), has extended warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to all Muslim officers, soldiers, ratings, airmen/airwomen, and civilian staff.

As the nation marks the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, General Musa emphasized the significance of seeking forgiveness, divine favor, and enduring peace for Nigeria.

He called upon members of the armed forces to uphold the virtues of piety, honesty, tolerance, love, and unity that were embraced during Ramadan.

Addressing the troops deployed across all theaters of operation, General Musa urged them to remain disciplined, resilient, patriotic, and courageous in their service to the nation.

He expressed deep appreciation for their sacrifices and unwavering dedication to safeguarding Nigeria, acknowledging the personal costs they sometimes endure.

General Musa appealed to all Nigerians to extend their love and support to the Armed Forces of Nigeria, emphasizing that the collective determination to address the challenges of insecurity is crucial for national development.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and well-being of troops in all theaters of operation.

Despite economic challenges facing the nation, General Musa acknowledged the support the AFN continues to receive under the leadership of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
