Badaru Celebrates Eid Mubarak with Nigerians, Advocates for Peaceful Coexistence


The Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, extended warm wishes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the Armed Forces of Nigeria, Muslim faithful, and the entire Nigerian populace as the world marked the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a press statement, the Minister Badaru Abubakar conveyed his heartfelt wishes of peace, blessings, and spiritual upliftment to all Nigerians, with a special commendation for members of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

Recognizing the significance of Ramadan’s virtues of patience, sacrifice, and good deeds, the Minister urged Nigerians to embrace empathy, brotherhood, and resilience, thereby contributing to the nation’s progress.

“May the patience, sacrifices, and the good deeds of the month inspire us to uphold virtues of empathy, brotherhood, and resilience,” stated Minister Badaru Abubakar.

Moreover, the Minister emphasized the imperative of peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians, underscoring that unity fosters perseverance and enables the pursuit of a more peaceful, united, and prosperous Nigeria.

The commemoration of Eid Mubarak serves as a reminder of the values of compassion, solidarity, and harmony, which are essential for national cohesion and development.

The Ministry of Defence reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the nation’s security and promoting harmony among its diverse population.
