Armed Forces declares eight persons wanted in connection with okuoama killings.


The Military High Command has issued a declaration naming eight individuals wanted in connection with the tragic murder of seventeen soldiers in Okuoama, Delta State.

Major General Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations, announced the declaration during a press briefing addressing the recent activities of troops in various theatres of operation across the nation.

Expressing determination, Major General Buba assured that the Armed Forces will exhaust all avenues to apprehend the culprits and ensure they face justice.

The wanted individuals, comprising seven males and one female, include Akevwru Daniel Omotegbono, Prof. Ekpelpo Arthur, Andaowei Dennis Bakriri, and Akata Malawa David.

Additionally, the list includes Igoli Ebi, Sinclear Oliki, Clement Ikolo Oghenerukevwe, and Reuben Baru.

This declaration underscores the Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment to restoring peace and security, and serves as a call for cooperation from the public in bringing the perpetrators to account.
