The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen Ph.D, has rejoiced with the Leader of the Senate Distinguished Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele on his 60th birthday.
Speaker Abbas described the lawmaker as a committed and patriotic Nigerian, who serves his fatherland with diligence and dedication.
He said the Senate Leader, who represents Ekiti Central Senatorial District, is a pillar of democracy owing to his contributions to the Legislature over the years.
The Speaker recalled Senator Bamidele’s days as a member of the Green Chamber, noting that the Senate Leader has distinguished himself among his peers.
As a lawyer and an activist, the Speaker said, Senator Bamidele remains a role model to the younger generation as he has distinguished himself in all his areas of endeavours.
He wished the Senate Leader many more years in good health, just as he prayed that God Almighty increases him in knowledge and wisdom in the service of Nigeria.
