Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians on the silver jubilee of unbroken democratic rule in Nigeria.
According to a statement by Levinus Nwabughiogu, Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Speaker, Kalu expressed optimism that Nigeria is on a trajectory to manifest greatness in all spheres of development, citing the 25 years of sustained democratic practice as a testament to the country’s growth and progress.
While acknowledging current challenges, Kalu urged united action from all stakeholders to realize the dreams of the founding fathers. He expressed confidence in the current leadership and reiterated the commitment of the National Assembly to good governance through people-oriented legislations.
The deputy speaker congratulated President Tinubu and the nation on this milestone, assuring that Nigeria will celebrate many more years of unbroken democratic rule.
